Medical Billing and Coding (MBC)

The Medical Billing and Coding program covers both coding and billing skills to give students employment advantages following graduation. Our 10-month program prepares students to organize and analyze information such as patient records, insurance reimbursement, and coding guidelines to optimize physician payments.

Our instructors teach billing and coding skills in traditional, hybrid, and online environments. The coursework is taught with equipment and materials akin to those used on the job. Medical records, patient documents, current diagnostics, and procedural coding books are utilized along with anatomy and physiology charts, and torso models.
